Below are the telephonic phrases in daily use-


1. Your voice is breaking.

- आपकी आवाज़ टूटकर आ रही है।

- Aapki awaaz tootkar aa rahi hai.

2. Your voice is echoing.

- आपकी आवाज़ गूंज रही है।

- Aapki awaaz goonj rahi hai.

3. I can't hear you properly.

- मुझे आपकी आवाज़ ठीक से सुनाई नही दे रही है।

- Mujhe aapki awaaz theek se sunae nahi de rahi hai.

4. Your voice is jarring.

- आपकी आवाज़ कट- कट कर आ रही है।

- Aapki awaaz cut-cut kar aa rahi hai.

5. I can hear you on and off.

- आपकी आवाज़ आ और जा रही है।

- Aapki awaaz aa aur ja rahi hai.

6. I can't hear you at all, let me call you back.

- मुझे तुम्हारी आवाज़ बिल्कुल नही आ रही है, मुझे तुम्हे काॅल करने दो।

- Mujhe tumhari awaaz bilkul nahi aa rahi hai, mujhe tumhe call karne do.

7. Am I audible to you?

- क्या आपको मेरी आवाज़ आ रही है?

- Kya aapko meri awaaz aa rahi hai?

8. Can you hear me loud & clear?

- क्या तुम मेरी आवाज़ साफ - साफ सुन सकते हो?

- Kya tum meri awaaz saaf-saaf sun sakte ho?

9. I can hear you but your voice is too low, can you be a bit loud?

- आपकी आवाज़ तो आ रही है लेकिन धीरे आ रही है, क्या आप थोड़ा ज़ोर से बोल सकते हो?

- Aapki awaaz to aa rahi hai lekin dheere aa rahi hai, kya aap thoda zor se bolo sakte ho?

10. I am barely managing to hear you.


- मैं बहुत मुश्किल से तुम्हारी आवाज़ सुन पा रही हूं।

- Main bohot mushkil se tumhari awaaz sun pa rahi hu.

Sometimes our mobile battery is low and at the same time we receive a call from someone so, the best way to cover up this situation is to use the below phrases -

1. You have to be quick, my mobile battery is about to die.

- तुमको जो भी कहना है जल्दी कहो, मेरे मोबाइल की बैट्री खत्म होने वाली है।

- Tumko jo bhi kehna hai jaldi kaho, mere mobile ki battery khatam hone waali hai.

2. My mobile battery is about to drain, could you text me the details?

- मेरे मोबाइल की बैट्री बस खत्म होने वाली है, क्या तुम मुझे डिटेल्स मेसेज कर सकते हो?

- Mere mobile ki battery bas khatam hone waali hai, kya tum mujhe details message kar sakte ho?

3. Can I call you after charging my phone?

- क्या मैं आपको अपना फोन चार्ज  कर के काॅल करू।

- Kya main aapko apna phone charge kar ke call karu?

4. My mobile battery is running low, I might lose you soon.

- मेरे मोबाइल की बैट्री खत्म हो रही है, फोन कभी भी कट सकता है।

- Mere mobile ki battery khatam hone rahi hai, phone kabhi bhi cut sakta hai.

This happened lots of times with many people that we were busy with some urgent work but suddenly got a call. If you just hang up the call in between the conversation or decline the call so it shows you are very rude. Instead of doing that you need to use the below phrases and handle the situation-

1. I am tied up at the moment, Can I call you in an hour?

- अभी मैं बहुत व्यस्त हूं, क्या मैं तुम्हे एक घंटे बाद काॅल करू?

- Abhi main bohot vyast hu, kya main tumhe ek ghante baad call karu?

2. If it's not urgent, Can I buzz you later in the evening?

- अगर ये ज़रूरी ना हो, क्या मैं तुमको शाम को काॅल करू?

- Agar ye zaroori na ho, Kya main tumko shaam ko call karu?

3. Listen, my meeting is about to start, I won't be able to speak to you now.

- सुनो, मेरी मिटिंग अभी शुरू ही होने वाली है, मैं अभी तुमसे बात नही कर सकती।

- Suno, meri meeting abhi shuru hi hone waali hai, Main abhi tumse baat nahi kar sakti.

4. I am sure this conversation will take longer, can I reach home and call you?

- मुझे मालूम है इस बातचीत मे बहुत समय लगने वाला है, क्या मैं तुम्हे घर पहुंचकर काॅल करू।

- Mujhe maloom hai Iss baatcheet mei bohot samay lagne waala hai, kya main tumhe ghar pohochkar call karu.

5. I need to hang up now, let's continue our conversation tomorrow?

- मुझे अभी फोन रखना होगा, हमारी जो बातचीत है हम कल करते है।

- Mujhe abhi phone rakhna hoga, hamari jo baatcheet hai hum kal karte hai.

Nowadays conference call is very common as many people are working from home so they connect on a conference call. You may use the below phrases while doing a conference call-

1. Can both of you hear me clearly?

- क्या तुम दोनो को मेरी आवाज़ ठीक सुनाई दे रही है?

- Kya tum dono ko meri awaaz theek sunae de rahi hai?

2. I have Rahul and Neha with me on the other side, I am patching you in.

- राहुल और नेहा मेरे साथ पहले से काॅल पर है, मैं तुम्हे भी कनेक्ट  कर रहा हूं।

- Rahul aur Neha mere saath pehle se call par hai, main tumhe bhi connect kar raha hu.
